Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th of August 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and sole daughter of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. She was the home of her mother as a mother. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick started dancing and singing in her early years and often performed plays with puppets for the kids in her community. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 year old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see what she thought about getting involved in the industry of entertainment. Her first major role came during 1964, which was when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the leading character on Wind It up and It Breaks, a play at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick said in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she was close to having ended her relationship in the fifth season of the show in the presence of Barry Williams, her co-star and on-screen brother. He was just 19. She was 16. The woman said it might be possible, however it was never the best moment to make the decision.
